WC3 tft opponent disconnect=no points?

Hey all, sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I couldn't find any battlenet section. Was just playing a game of TFT with a guy who threatened to disconnect if I didn't take it easy on him claiming it would disallow me to receive any winning points. Is this true or not? I haven't found anything online about it.

No, it's not true, he was just trying to scare you so you wouldn't beat him...
