Wc3 file converter doesen't work... help

I just tryed to open a sheep model couse it is an easy one but i got that error...

Hmm ... Nearly impossible. Mine works fine.
Try to reinstall it. I guess u also know how it works?

You can reinstall it.

Once i did a search for file on my pc (using XP) and the converter came up with that, after restarting and redling and such it worked.

The program is VERY buggy and VERY unreliable but its one of those core things..

You can just use model editor to convert files or guessts converter found in the mdl section of wc3campaigns.net (called DO YOUR GAMES CRASH INGAME? thread)

You can convert mdx to mdl and vice versa with magos modelling editor, by saving the model with extenstion either mdx or mdl.

you need the latest direct X and latest wc3 patch for it to work properly, when you convert you merely open(import) and save(export) and choose the formats by either typing their extension or choosing it on the pull down.

what do you mean make it work? what model are you trying to convert? that might actually be the problem.

anyway, just use model editors one. I find it a good one yes. (repeating a coment)

most the 3rd party warcraft 3 programs require the Warcraft 3 regerstration keys. which are basicly is the file that roots itself into your OS so it makes it compatable. If you happen to do say a system reboot usly even if it preserves the program they get deleted and why Warcraft 3 will run fine and the WE other 3rd part programs won't work. But I don't think its his problem just something everybody should know. Ow and to fix that renstall warcraft 3

I tried to open an Archmage model in vertex converter then I got this messege: Geosets to import(1 -3), but if i write 1, 2 or 3 I only get this messege: Run-time error '13' type mismatch...
what shall i do?
