Warhammer 40k Mission Editor

I think many of you have hearded about the Mission Editor. It's like the Wc3 WE. But, I only got one problem. When I try to start it, it closes 1 sec after. I
can se a window poping up, then it being closed directly. You know what might be wrong?

Are you patched?

Make sure you have taken control of all the wh40k files and that you are running the editor under administrator.

Do you have it in the proper directory? Try reinstalling.

I had to tinker with some programs to go to /c: program files (86x)

What's the proper directory then? I have also reinstalled it 3 times. Shall it be installed in the same folder as DoW?

And about that /c:/program files (86x) I don't know what you mean. :S

Of course in the same folder as DoW.

[C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Dawn of War\] Is my directory. I assume it uses the resource files in these game folders, So in theory it could work with dark crusade and soulstorm.

hm.. I think I just installed it in C:/program files/Mission Editor...

Hm, Most of my files are in D. Anyway DoW and WA are in 1 folder, DC in another and Soulstorm in 3 one. Oh and where can I get patches? And that mission editor. Newer hurd of it untill now...

Alright, I have found the error. My DoW version is to old. Could anyone give me all patches that exsist?

I have no idea how many patches do exist.

1.0 > 1.40
1.40 > 1.41
1.41 > 1.50
As I remember.

But that's wierd, the mission editor says that you need 1.3 or higher, so, shouldn't 1.3 exsist?

I don't know. My DoW Updated 3 times with patches before.
But I'm sure that the current version is 1.5 or higher.

Dont know. Aldo my first DoW i instaled, I went on internte. I dled r patches. Hm, so you should thry that too. Just create a n account and log in. He will offer patches to dl, and you should.

Just go to warhammer filefront and get the patches from there. Filefront was saved from imminent doom, so you can still rely on filefront for patches.

Filefront was temporary closed because of lack of fundings but now it's up and running again.
