You can read the history of Warcraft from Sunwell Trilogy too. In 1st book there is about 5 or more pages of Warcraft history.

Yeah, as well, if you actually read through all of it (Like I did months ago on a saturday afternoon, it took like an hour and half lol) then you notice at the end that Blizzard specifies that its not complete yet, and perhaps with the release of BC they will add more so we can get a better look at where they are going with the WoW storyline.
