Warcraft III's Model Pimpage?

Before I start my map project, I'd like to know a couple things. Not sure if this is the right forum area, but it does have to do with using the World Editor. Anyhow... I have a basic male / female model with just shorts on. Does Warcraft support clothes modeled for equipping? I was going to have multiple shirts, pants, belts, etc.. to wear for players based on certain schools they join. I haven't seen any maps that do this, with allowing equipment to be shown on the player, via model.. when they wear that said item. This would surely make my map a lot better, because who doesn't like eye candy? I just hope I don't have to swap the players model each time they wear something, because that would be troublesome. I appreciate any replies I get.

I'm only guessing here, but as I've never seen a map with a unit changing gear (besides items held in their hands.. weapons, flags...), I would say you probably have to make models of the units for each piece of gear.

That is what I figured. I guess I'll deal with that, but with so many combinations, it will be a big job. Thanks Teelo.

You could also only use one model, and multiply it's animations. In addition to the normal animation, make a texture animation and name that Animation "Attack Leather" or something like that.

Inside the game, make a trigger to replace every animation with the "Leather " animation.
