I predicted something like this would be said, and I nearly agree with you. But a game of LoL is a mental challenge every time. Endless variables are changing and the game requires quick thinking in order to correctly respond to them. Additionally, there are many ways to respond to these events. With a different Harlem shake video, the fact that its a warcraft version or a starcraft version doesnt matter. The variables don't matter. All it does is provoke the same message as the last. Stupid.
Stupid = funny. Harlem shake = funny.
In my eyes, a harlem shake video is a shallow form of comedy. The extent of "stupid" in order to achieve comedy is taken too far, and thus I find it humiliating to watch. The repitition is so severe, that I find it even harder to accept that people are still watching it.
I beleive the Harlem shake, and every other bad video/trend may not affect this generation as much, but it's effects will pass onto the new generation. As a child views his world with an open mind, his experiences will define his traits. The harlem shake, as explained in a previous comment, does convey elements of sex, aggresion and stupidity. If you compare this Harlem Shake to a video of the 1980's, I think you will find the Harlem Shake will contain more of what I spoke of.
Stupid has always been funny. But just like drugs, where their effect is weakened with overuse. It appears stupid is also becoming weaker. Here we are overdosing on stupid, and we will in term, become dumber.
