This is simple evolution. Humans evolve to fit with their surrounding environments. Times were different back then; you had to struggle for survival against the wilderness and hunt for your own food. Now you simply drive down to the nearest super market and buy whatever you feel like (more or less anyway). Education, socializing, business etc. is just as important today as hunting, fishing, and all that other primitive nonsense were back then. The present time is just more simple, which allows for simpler mindsets.

Now, for the actual topic: I personally enjoy harlem shake. It's something I can laugh about with my friends, and allows for a wonderful comic-relief from the "harsh" daily life.

In the end, I'll admit I found this "Harlem Shake" enjoyable the first few times I saw it, but what truly spreads a grin on my face is all those would-be smart-asses who actually get mad at the fact that people like it, because they think people are stupid.

I look at these harlem shake videos and 2 thoughts cross my mind.

1.) How can somebody still find it funny. Theres are millions of videos and people laugh at one after the other. Washing Machine version, starcraft version, warcraft version. Does it ever get old? Repitition is suppose to bore people. Why is that no longer the case?

2.) Harlem shakes are typically a guy with a motor bike helmet shaking while others are acting normal. Then I see everybody randomly act like idiots to a distrubing degree. Sometimes they smash things up, sometimes they just shake on the spot. When in history did we need to intensify stupidity to such an extent just for a laugh? I think its a sad sight to see people be such idiots. How can an intelligence race act in such a way? Anywho, just my two cents.....

I predicted something like this would be said, and I nearly agree with you. But a game of LoL is a mental challenge every time. Endless variables are changing and the game requires quick thinking in order to correctly respond to them. Additionally, there are many ways to respond to these events. With a different Harlem shake video, the fact that its a warcraft version or a starcraft version doesnt matter. The variables don't matter. All it does is provoke the same message as the last. I'm sorry I can't give you more descriptive sources. Its funny that no-where provides detailed facts. And thus the facts appear a little bias, but here is my story:

A large group of kids in my year a few years ago now (when I was 14) started to begin drinking alcohol. This was the "cooler" group, and their habits slowly began to pass on to the rest of the kids in my year. Alcohol consumption was widespread in my year by the age of 16-17. And when I say alchohol consumption, I mean to the point where they'd get drunk. Not many remained sober. Interesting enough, I saw some of the years below us drink more frequently than us. My younger brother's year. OMG, thats bad. About 10-15% of his year drink? Hes 15 turning 16. Can't beleive about 5 of them smoked weed, tobacco and alcohol by the age of 13. But thats a rare minority. Wonder what they're parents are like... The area in which we live is actually well developed, clean and has low crime rates. I know were better than a lot of neighbouring areas.

You don't necessarily need the media to tell you something is wrong. You just need to open your eyes and it's right in front of you. I know it's harder to understand the reality of it if you havent recently had any experience with schools. Then again, sadly Australia does love their alcohol. I wonder if other countries are just as bad?
