- There seem to be no major bugs that was cause a crash. The map is in the correct category, has a valid author name and is classified in the right type.
- There are, however, some minor bugs. The tooltips of spells have not been modified at all even though the hero is named differently and some of the spells refer to other heroes(e.g. Dwarf hero has a spell that refers to the Alchemist, a hero this dwarf clearly isn't).
- Although not a bug, some spells are simply wrong and should be modified(e.g. The dwarf hero has Chemical Rage that is supposed to increase his movement and attack speed. The spell fits the bill however it transforms the dwarf into a purple ogre carrying a goblin in the process).
The Review
- The terrain is below average, but not horrible. There is some tile variation and there are some doodads here and there but, like I said, it's still below average.
- The story is pretty much generic: A group of heroes go off to kill a dragon king. Nothing original.
- Heroes, items and spells bring nothing new. Their isn't a single triggered spell, most of them are default w3 ones and items are default w3 items as well. The heroes are default human heroes(3 melee, 3 campaign).
- Their are training rooms before every "level". In these you get to fight 1 enemy at a time and level up your hero. Generally a good idea, however I was able to level up all the way to the max level(20) before even starting the first zone.
Overall
- A below average RPG with no custom units/items or spells and a serious balance issue.
My Advice
- Improve your terrain, add more doodads, tile variation, height variation. Import some custom models to make the map look good.
- Add custom units, more then 6 ordinary heroes from W3 and add a level cap to the training rooms.
- Make custom items and add custom and, possibly, triggered spells.
- Make the map more balanced. Either make all heroes attack flying units or change the dragon into something else.
- Add a real story. An RPG with a good story is a good RPG.
Score
- This map is lacking in some aspects such as terrain and gameplay. It brings nothing new, apart from the training rooms and there are some minor bugs. However, it's good enough for an approval. 2.5/5.
