67chrome: the hair and cloths don't wrap terribly well, and seem to flow in the wrong direction as well. Make the hair in the back wrap better, and do something with the texture on the cloths to make it look better, i'd suggest freehanding the furry bits rather than using a filter. The entire skin also needs a lot more shading and highlights.

its really too simple. try adding something different to the skin to make it look more creative.

It's far too simple at the moment. Try and make his clothing look more like fur, instead of course cloth-like.

It needs shading and highlights, or it will look like you have just scribbled some lines.
I know it's difficult to understand, me on myself don't get how to highlight and shadow the right way, and I'm not talent in arts...
But you could take a look at Hawking's Anti Noobism Tutorial, it shows very good how to shade etc,
