Well I've seen this in movies.

What does this call?

You often see that in scenes like a guy is surrounded by enemies. he then throw something in the ground that explodes, a smoke appears. After some seconds the smoke dissapears, and the guy is gone. So what is this .. exploding thingy? Smoke Bomb -_-?

No I think I saw it in more ancient movies. Japaneese/Chineese movies.
