Using Skins from this site

ive downloaded some models off the site, and its fairly easy to do that, but when I go to skins and I download it and it just gives me one file, which i cant switch with the model on we,i have no idea what im doing

I work on maps, mostly terrain, i dont know alot about models/skins and how to import them, someone give me a step-by-step of what to do to download a skin from the section and get it onto your map?

can you put it simply for me? i dont get what you mean exactly, what do you have to change? and where?

i'm having trouble too. i read your threads but i can't understand how to make the skin into a model. If i change the "blp" for the "mdl" the skin can be seen in the editor, but can't be seen when playing.

umm skins are not models....

skins just need to have the correct custom path attached to them.
