How do I make it so a trigger message uses a player's name in it.

Example: Greetings (player name), welcome to your new base.

If this is possible, could it be used in cinematics as well?

Thank you in advance! :D

Use "Concatenate strings". Then type your message, and add the player name with the function "Player - Player Name".
  • Game - Display to (All players) the text: (The player + ((Name of (Triggering player)) + is the only one capable of...))
As soon as you click the "(Triggering player)" you'll be able to select a specific player name depending on your needs (e.g: Owner of picked unit, triggering unit, etc...).

If this is possible, could it be used in cinematics as well?

Yes.
