Using Keyboard/Mouse Scroll in Triggers (3rd person RPG)

Since RtC has been shut down, has anyone come up with anything that would allow someone to use keyboard buttons or the mouse scroller in triggers? I'm trying to make a 3rd person RPG and i'd like to add WASD or ESDF movement, give the player the ability to click/drag to rotate the camera around their hero, and use the mouse scroller to move to camera toward and away from their character. Basically, im trying to do this :

I can't use the triggers in this map, I get an error when I try to save. I think the systems used in that map are outdated and don't work anymore. Is there anything else out there that I can use or any tutorials I can follow?

1.26, but like I said when I try to save in the map editor it gives me an error

are you using NewGenWE or the default one?

You need NewGen to use that system coz its in vJASS

I think the mouse is called trackables in vJass but it's very hard or impossible to implement if you dont know how to use vJass...

About the arrow movement, that can be done in GUI, contact GhostTruster he has that system...

Trackables detect mouse over and click, but they would not be efficient for a full mouse detection on 3rd/1st person cameras...


anyway, now that I reread his post, Its not about detecting the mouse movement... its about detecting the mouse scroll wheel... sadly, I don't think there exists a function for that...
