Is there a way to get notified if someone replied/wrote in the comments box of an image where you also had something to say with the specification that said image belongs to someone else and not to you?

Does not exist yet, as far as I know, sadly.

For Hive 2.0 we will have an Art Gallery where people can submit their artwork instead of using the Concept Art forum or their personal art galleries. It's so that everyone can browse through and view the great works of art. And you will of course get a notification when someone replies

Personal galleries will still exist. If you want your work to be displayed in the upcoming Art Gallery then you'd have to reupload them, yes.
