[Solved] Upgrade ranks do not show on a custom unit

So I made a paladin unit that is a melee unit with spells and a 3-level upgrade. The upgrade works, it increases his hp/mana and unlocks his spells but the icon for ranks(initiate,adept,master) does not show up.
In the propertes it uses the upgrade
Anyone know a solution?

Did you set the "class" field under upgrades to caster? I think this is hardcoded and required.

Yes, it was 'caster' and because of that the upgrade didnt affect it, so I changed it to 'melee' and it worked. In both cases there was no icon.

Caster is required to show any upgrade icons.

And you need to set "Art - Caster upgrade art" to priest or whatever under your unit tab to make the icon work.
