I was just wondering where map-makers like Ice-Frog (Dota) and the maker of Custom Hero Arena got the sound files from Unreal Tournament and such other games.

For Example : First Blood! when you get the first kill in Dota, or Multi-Kill when you kill more than 2 people in a row in Custom Hero Arena.

I was just wondering if you could download these sound files off the internet instead of extracting them directly from the games (since I don't feel like hunting down my CD's and installing UT 2004... (can someone please help me?)
