I suggest you to practice in a more freehand-esque work, since this skin is just a bad recolor work.
For instance, the way you did with hands does not make it look like boxing gloves at all (more like red glowing hands).

How can you call this a boxer? The only thing I see is darkened or burned is his hands 'n head. You have to do freehand, dude!!
