Alright so I made a little trigger and map to test out AI for my Map War Age.

I tested out the movements and ordered a Unit to move when region entered

  • Movement
  • Events
  • Unit - A Unit Enters Start
  • Conditions
  • Actions
  • Unit - Order entering unit to attack-move to End
And this doesnt work, it always has can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

And Triggering unit does nothing at all in this Trigger, it will only be used if you make a trigger that modifies the Unit and all the Trigger is about the Unit.

Why not
  • Unit - Order Unit to Point (End)
  • Turn Cinematic Mode On if u want it that its not possible to Walk before u get to the End
  • Events
    • Unit enters End
  • Actions
    • Turn Cinematic Mode Off

Triggering Unit is much better than Entering Unit. It's much faster and has an utility I no longer remember how to describe... it's local, so to speak. Entering unit can hold only a single value, so for example, if you added a 3 second wait and ordered the unit to move to a new location after that, and a new unit entered before the first was ordered to move, the new unit would be the reference of (Entering Unit), and not the first.
A kind of complicated explanation, I guess. Just use Triggering Unit, is my advice.
