unit casting mana shield on other unit?

I just want a temporal shield that makes a unit inmune to everything (not invulnerable).

Immune, you mean he can still be attacked but doesnt take any damage? If thats yes, you will have to make a new ability mostly Channel and make it targetbale so it can target units but dont forget to make targets set to only Friendlies. After that make another ability based on Hardened Skin that blocks all damage. Now trigger it that when casting unit casts it on the targeted unit, add the hardened Skin and just add maybe the special effect of the Mana Shield and create a timer that lasts 15 seconds or maybe wait 15 seconds then remove Hardened skin and the Special effect.

Requirements:
-A Channel ability that you will based.
-A hardened skin that blocks any damage and that you will add on the targeted unit
-Optional: If you want spell to be blocked too: maybe Resistant Skin that blocks magic damage and that you will add on the targeted unit
-Some triggering.

You should specify the details of your spell, that way, people won't ask you too many questions.

1. When you said "Mana Shield", the Mana would be the cost of the shield, right ?
Whose Mana is to be consumed ?
2. What is the capacity of the Mana Shield ? Does it depends on live feed of the Mana or is it pre-defined values (200/300/400) ?
3. What do you meant by immune to everything but not invulnerable ? He looks like he's "taking damage" but the damage would be, 0 ?

1. Well, he did said that it will not cost mana for the shield but acts like an Divine Shield but not invlunerable still it will be immune to damage. I think thats what he meant.

3. He is not invulnerable but he is immune to any damage he will take. Maybe again thats what he meant.

Let us just wait for the askers's reply.

The thing is no one knows what he wants (i think he doesn't know either). The best thing to do is encourage him to think a bit further and picture us what he really wants.

Mana Shield doesn't turn unit invulnerable to damage, it takes a % of damage to mana and the rest to hp, but he doesn't seem to want that.

WOW! so much help and support in a single post! thnx ppl. I just decided to change the spell duration of 15 secs to if someone hit the shield it absorb the damage and dissapear, I think heres enough help for making my spell but Here are the details:

[Plasma shield]

Cast a powerfull spheric shield on an allied unit that protects from the the next incoming damage (phsytical, negative buff, spells).

10 secs cooldown.
No mana cost.

Just what I said on my previous post tho I cannot explain it in triggers but it will be easy to follow. Follow the reuirements, maybe its worth a try... try it.
