Umm ya has anyting new happened to this map recently?


i'm just wondering about what happend to it

I think Nite quit WC3. It doesn't seem like he's on much anymore, or maybe I spend too much time working on maps to notice

well... he kinda said once (somewhere) to make an update every two months or something like that... moreover the next version would include new ideas from "you", as the title of the thread says, so maybe he's just taking a break to gather some new motivation/ideas or something. or just the beginning of school/work? well... ^^

Unfortunately I did for the most part quit WC3, which includes quitting updating Against the Darkness. I do actually want to create an updated version from You, but at the moment 2.65c is completely stable and I see no reason to update it. Plus there are not enough ideas from the You forum to create a sufficient update. If anyone would like to take over the map, I'd love to hand it down to an experienced mapmaker.

Dark, Desitpte the fact that i now despise the warcraft 3 community (well battle net anyways) (After Dark-Wizard completly murderd my fun)

I can take over this project since i rather not see it go into the graveyard

I could possibly hand it over to you, but you have notoriously bad spelling errors (not your fault, I know of your Dyslexia. Either way AtD would be sure to have many errors). I would still have to spell check it for every release . Now, I could give it to you AND others as a team, but one of those people would have to speak and write fluent and correct English.

And i was going to fourm a team to help matain this map (since i rather not need to do everyting by myself)

I guess it will probably be time soon to remove this from our active hosted projects.

I am sorry to hear about you leaving WC3, especially since that map was so good and had a lot of effort in it. I hope everything turns out right for you and you enjoy other games or real life.

Anyway, if you can not deicde who to hand it to, atleast leave a unprotected version to us (the administration staff of the Hive Workshop) since we did grant you a hosted project forum. That way we will probably not edit it or even add to it at all, but we can make sure that if bugs / probelms are found, they are removed / fixed.

Thanks Shadow, and DSG I very well may leave an unprotected version to The Hive for those who are much more graced at map-making than I to fix any bugs or make the code more efficient. I will decide soon.
