[Ubuntu/Linux] Samba/Network issues

Hello guys.

I've just installed Ubuntu 10.04 on 2x of my pcs.
The first has full access to all network stuff, the second is not listed in the network but can access to the internet and can see the network folders. (Can't use the Ubuntu folders, but the windows ones)

Can anyone explain what could cause this?

10.04 is full of bugs. I recommend upgrading to 10.10, and are you on 32 bit or 64 bit?

What are you using to emulate windows, WINE? and what version

Latest stable from winehq.

I actually think this could have been a problem at the installation, maybe reinstalling Ubuntu will work?
Maybe something just went wrong, it's possible.
