Hi, my dilema is that I've vertex modified and geomerged a wolfrider with a shoulder pad and shield to be my Nazgrel (I wanted something to distinguish him as a special character). But know during some sequences (Attack-1, Walk, Stand-Victory...) the shield clips through the wolfs head . I've gone ahead and modified the key frames for the left arm and wrist for these anims to correct this :) but the Anim exporter and how to get the new anim working eludes me.
I've tried for example. Modifying the walk anim, exporting it, then running thru the original file and the Anim export replacing anything between range 7500-8000 (the walk anim range) in the original file with the Modified Anim version. However when previewed the animation in question is all screwed up. Any help would be appeciated. Of course when the models done I'll upload it for all.
Just for your info, I'm using 3dStudioMax 5.1 and Fadi Mounir's MDX Importer/Exporter.
Cheers

*Edit* Uhm, I guess this is a tough one/alot to ask! Im actually a coder trying to see how the other half lives, LOL. Im getting good in 3dStudio but adding bones, and advanced animation are new to me. Could it be how I've modified the animations? (Maybe thats why the models all screwy!) How does one port a custom animation? OR maybe a tutorial link?
Sincerly Jack Daniels,... I mean ColdStar PHD-LMNOP,... Uhm yeah to much caffeine for the programmer bean!
