Trip Wire Spell?

Ok, so i really need like a spell where u designate 2 points and if a unit were to cross the line between those 2 points they would be stunned for a certain amount of time, is this possible, if so would u create like a custom region between the two points designated? also the two points couldn't be amazingly far away from one another....
