Triggered Spellbook Help

I didnt know wether to post this in Spells or Maps so I posted it in maps.

Is there a way to trigger a spellbook, ie. Unit B has a Item, then Give unit A spell C in the spell book? But without using tons of items for each combination?

Swear I have seen it somewhere before, but I cant find it
