You can't perfectly duplicate the crit strike text, but you can approximate it using texttags (Floating Text in GUI).

The problem with critical hits with triggers is that you have to detect when a unit is damaged and get the amount of damage done by that unit, and WE makes tht process a lot harder than it ought to be. You can't do it with GUI; it has to be done with pure JASS.

It's not perfect (none are), but for the purposes of making a triggered crit strike it should work quite well. Use texttags that appear over the attacking unit with color red and font size around 10 that move upwards (positive y direction) and disappear after about two seconds to simulate the crit strike text.
