Translation and rotation not applied ingame

The translation and rotation in the death animation (from 20533 - 23133) on bonehorsebone_abdomen is not being applied ingame. It displays as expected in mdlvis/modelviewer.
I tried adding the animation to different bones, no change. The Jaw bone and attached vertices ARE being translated. o_O

No idea what's causing this, any ideas? Thanks :)

Edit: fixed, not 100% sure how
I removed all geoset animations from all bones (didn't actually realize bones could have a geoset animation assigned before now...), and there was one bone that somehow had a "\" at the end of its name, must have been one of those that fixed it
