I attended a chamber music camp for strings, recently, and I was inspired to write this. It's a short little piece in c-sharp minor (my favorite key) for a string orchestra. I had planned to add in a middle section in d-flat major, but, after a while, I had moved on to other compositions, and couldn't find time or motivation to finish this. However, the first part, I realized, could be a piece in itself, albeit a short one. As it is, the piece remains in minor mode (though it occasionally shifts keys) for the whole of its duration (about 1:30), though I have included a few musical "jokes" in the middle.

Enjoy!
