They Are Zombies!!!

Map Info:

This map is still beta,
and current version is still alpha, mean not complete yet but better than older version.

A city was attacked by frenzy zombies, people who survives just are soldiers and bandits.
Your mission is simple, survive as long possible to get higher score. At night you will attacked by waves of zombies, and at the night wicked bandits will try to kill you.

Currently working at skills and traits...


Features:

Assist will come to help you fight the victims, it will brought grenades and heals stock and weapons.

Gunner modified his guns, made it more fast and efficient to kill mass of zombies.

Gunner use M90 bullets instead of common bullets. It has shorter range but has a chance to slows zombies.

ok, this is what i think:
map terrain is good, i like the city street with barricades most.
units could use some custom skins, plain wc3 models are boring.
neat blood spray effect when you shoot enemies, i like it...
maybe some new gamemodes could be implemented ( deathmatch, something like Left 4 Dead's Survivor vs Infected etc.)
im thinking of some quests that you can do to unlock new weapons or equipment, and maybe some events that either give you backup ( guns, NPC allies etc. ) or have an adverse effect ( boss spawning, mutations resulting in new zombie types etc. )
and of course, MOAR GUNZ!! :thumbs_up:


i do have more suggestions but i think doing any of the above would already be a strain, so i'll keep them for future...
currently the map is already playable, but still quite simple. It has potential to be a great map though, actually any map with guns and custom gameplay do in my opinion. However you should change the mapname to something more impressive, i admit that i was sort of put off by a name like They Are Zombies!, it sounds like one of those maps made by someone who never worked with WE before in 1 day and uploaded to epicwar...you get the idea :p

i'll not add the game modes until the map near finish or current weapons and roles near finished. And check out 1.12 alpha version, there are a new roles that brought new weapon upgrade (not complete yet, because no weapon to upgrade). And the event as you say, i'll implement it nearly, after bandit's boss was complete.
And about map's name... i kinda lazy thinking what title fit for the map, but if it is bad, I will change at future

Your terrain is pretty neat for a zombie survival map, the city is very well made. You can use some custom resources from Hive. I just noticed that when you fire the bullets they comes from his head. And in this way the zombies are too hard because they spawn on every sec. you should really lower the spawn speed. Make more items (weapons, armors etc.). Good luck!

Gunner. Higher attack speed, slows down the enemies with his attacks, but movement speed is slower and requires some time to aim at the enemy. Great against heavy melee units, esspecially bosses, but ranged enemies wuill be a major threat.

Intresting, but terrain looks really flat and needs some immproving. and you could like immport sandbads model and maybe some others. wave terrain was disrupt the grenades system, so i made the terrain flat, need other grenade system so fit with wave terrain (i have Simple entity engine from HINDYhat but dunno how to implement it).

btw, thanks for the idea.

problem: no zombies or bandits spawn in multiplayer, only bosses do.

i test the map with my brother no problem occurs, please post how many player when the problems occurs...

edit: oh shit that's true, zombies not spawn when i full the slot, to play with ur friend please leave a slot empty

Or you could have an oxygen system, which lowers everytime you're near infected.
actually i plan to add radiation system, but oxygen system was a great idea... thx for suggestion

You could at least spawn some small rocks/debris that has no colision and is small enough to not look weird when you walk over it to make place look less flat. Oh, you can also add some grass and plantlife. Preferable dead to make atmosphere more spooky.

Well, secrets are not necceseary to make, they just make you lul if they're funny, give some aestehitcall ejoyment if smart and fitting or do nothing if they're unfitting...

Well, you could like add a secret code that when entered attached a crriter like frog or chicken to your hero's head, or the one that does the same to zombies.
Also you can give some secret hidden items which are not stronger than regular but are somewhat fun or intresting or enjoyable...

Romero's zombies are menacing because they gather in numbers. You could be running from one group, only to be trapped by another. The fast zombies are menacing because you can't escape them easily. They can keep up with you on foot...

just like l4d, fast and crowd zombies but easy to kill, but there are enemies other than zombies, bandits, spawns at day

vehicles should kill small zombies, not big zombies. And when vehicle destroyed will kill any passenger on it (meat wagon and mutant zombies deals more damage to vehicle)

and shot system still in development, it will takes long time because the damn struct doesn't work

crush small zombies like ghouls and banshees, knockback for zombies and bandits and not happen to boss (because you must runaway from boss)

Ahoy! Ingat saya?

A bit needs "polish" and maybe sight range modification gives full taste of multiplayer survival game (i think). Make the camera a bit closer so player will be get more "difficult" to see around.

need ideas for next roles
current roles in progress:

Engineer could be able to repair vehicles and tech, plant and detect bandit's mines or turrets, construct sandbags or some zombie slowing contraptions and stuff like that.
Leader should, as obvious, have some auras and AoE buffs.
Assasin should be able to hide from enemies becoming immobile and then attack them with first attack having increased damage and should like mark targets, making them recieve more damage.

at 1.02, there are 4 perks for each roles...

i think leader has summon strategic point instead of aura
