Ok, so here's something I've been working on last night. Waddaya say, should I put in small eredar peoples all over the place?

The contrast between the white buildings and then the purple fog pulled over top with the starry sky looks a bit bad. But yes, eredars.

I love it. You're the most imaginative terrainer I know.

Anyway, Bel, I really like the atmosphere, yet the ground needs more grass to avoid the flat feeling it currently has.

Damn, you're right. I'll add some bigger shrubs in too, I guess.

What you might try is scaling down a grass model really much, and covering whole areas with it. Then you get grass that doesn't look too wild.

but oh well. I think Ill just do that.

Oh trust me, sometimes you need to handle the lag in order to make it look good. Ask MadseN...

Although, I have had a lot of terrains lagging, I prefer no lag )))))

The whole mess with the contest is pretty lame, I think we should have a contest where there is some sort of preliminary round/maybe just entries from us here at the dominion. Or something to that effect that would filter out some of the whiners and such.
