This is a campaign from the Chinese warcraft 3 community. Hopefully we can "give back" in the sense that by sharing many campaigns from their community, it will inspire Hiveworkshop creators to make more campaigns, and then the chinese language community can play those campaigns when the Chinese translators bring Hive campaigns to their community (so in this way, they can benefit also).


Important:
Even though there is a tendency to stereotype campaigns based on the Official Blizzard campaigns as lazy edits, I strongly feel HDG's campaign does not fit in that category at all. The amount of effort put into his campaign is equal to or more than that put into a non-Blizzard edited campaign.

Due to certain reasons, all campaign object data minus units were translated via AI.

I played it before it's a pretty good one, there is a talent system for the heroes as well some for the techtrees, some maps are heavily customized and really dfferent from the original campaign. It kinda let me wanting for the other campaigns to be done in the same way.

The translation is using reforged, I wonder if the original version use lower version from reforged like 1.31?

Maybe this mission is a bit unbalanced? There comes a point where you get attacked on 4 fronts every 40 seconds. The preparation time for the green base can be even lower, around 30-35 seconds. A tip for this mission is to gather all 3 heroes, grab the cheap tower upgrade, and start building towers and upgrading them until you destroy the purple base, which makes the attacks less insane.

It seems unclear to me what the difference is the original campaign? Are there new missions or are the original maps just expended as they are? I might seem stupid so I just wanna be sure
...I completed the first mission and can say that there is a lot of stuff. Tons of items. "Crafting" system, a system of 'military points' also known as army talents. More heroes to use. Mini-bosses to fight. Achievements and 4 different difficulties.
And even the first mission - straightforward "Defense of Stranhbrad" - became quite longer.

So I will admit I was somewhat skeptical going into this as just another edit of the campaign. But omg it far exceeds just changing a few units here and there and adding a few spells. I enjoy how the camp evolves as you play and provides upgrades with new visuals. The culling mission normally not one of my favorites is just now insane on nightmare to the point I don't think I had a moment to actually think. Nightmare as whole also just adds a decent of gameplay changes to each map outside of just a few more units, as well as being different changes per map.

New missions are always a plus as well

Now for some bugs/issues.
1. Several of the item texts for the combing do not match the actual item names. This may be a translation mistake but just wanted to point it out. Ex: Boots of Haste item says it needs "Swift Boots + swift scales.." but the item is the haste boots and the scales from the owlbear.
2. You can start a level without selecting any buff from the altars
3. Swordsman defend upgrade says "impale only, magic" the un-upgrade skill shows pierce
4. Swordsman level up tooltip I a little messy.

Yes, although I made it based on version 1.31, only the remake was able to complete the game without bugs.

Oh yes, you found the problem. In China, many players are in the same situation: the difficulty gradually increases from here. But you've also discovered how to deal with each map with different upgrades and skill combinations to create tactical options, which is exactly what I wanted, and I hope you enjoy it.

Yes, he has also stumped many Chinese players. When you attempt the highest difficulty and complete all achievements and collections under all the conditions that increase the difficulty with mutations, it is extremely challenging.

By the way, achievements can be saved like in StarCraft II, so you don't have to finish them all in one playthrough.

It's not modest to say that it's no less original than a new campaign. :)

You are a great map designer, right in the first few seconds I realized that if I didn’t destroy the infected cauldrons the situation would become impossible, which gave me time to build thousands of towers both in the enemy base with the 10-second upgrade and in ours, the enemy heroes make the tower kind of useless but that’s what the rifleman are for. Great campaign, I’m still at the Muradin part but I’d already give it 5 stars just for what I’ve played so far, especially the Culling and Hearthglen mission

In chapter 9 The Shores of Northrend, based on the image below I think this is a bug since you can't upgrade attack wave of your Dwarf and Elf allies in the circle of power at their base

Oops! This is a serious problem. What version of Warcraft are you using? It seems the latest version's tech restrictions are causing this. I'll contact tulee and fix it ASAP.

I was playing on the latest version of Reforged btw. Also I think you are correct about the latest version's tech restrictions since I have encountered similar problem in others campaign before.

i absolutely -love this campaign however i cant find the dragon scales items im still only map 7
Thanks for liking it. You missed him, this thing appeared in level three.

I was playing on the latest version of Reforged btw. Also I think you are correct about the latest version's tech restrictions since I have encountered similar problem in others campaign before.

The previous update has fixed this problem. Now you can fully enjoy the game. Hope you enjoy it!

Some Chinese fans have created a collection sheet that includes all items, recipes, coin collection, etc. You can just translate it simply and make good use of it.

Hello everyone, I’m a Chinese player, and I’m excited to share that I’ve officially completed the redesigned (or rather, reset) official campaign for Han Dagou. I highly recommend this game to everyone! Compared to the initial pre-release version, the official version now includes many new elements, such as mutation factors, which provide more options for players who enjoy challenges and greatly enhance the gameplay experience.


Additionally, the campaign now features an advanced military expenditure system, allowing players to make choices based on their preferences. The official release also includes a serialized update on a domestic official reform while also introducing completely new, original level cards, expanded terrain, exciting boss battles, as well as new races and troop types created by the author. It’s full of fun and innovation!


What’s more, the official version adds a second playthrough mode, giving players a fresh experience during the second playthrough. After completing the entire revised version, the feeling it gives is vastly different from the original—it’s more like a completely new game! I highly recommend everyone to give it a try!:grin::grin::prazz::pgrin:

The Blademaster is absolutely insane in this campaign. This is the kinda stuff you´d see in someones first custom hero. His stats are so overtuned, his mirror imagines can hit for up to 500 damage. Hopefully the rest of the bosses aren´t that overtuned.

I wouldn´t wanna see how hard he hits on any difficulty above normal.

EDIT: I am an absolut idiot. Thank you map creator for telling me to destroy the ritual buildings first to weaken him. I take all my critique back. The Blademaster is completly fine!

If you first destroy the three altars of another base, it will become vulnerable

Don't worry, there must be weaknesses that you can find in them.

This campaign adds a wide range of content to Blizzard’s original material, including new units, allies, missions, reworked existing missions, new abilities (which I’ve never seen used before), a very good crafting system, and new systems like the food system. The translation has a few downsides, such as typos, blank missions, and missing objectives, which makes it quite hard to understand the mission itself. However, if it weren't for this translation, I would never have had the chance to play it, as I have no knowledge of Chinese. It's an amazing campaign that I have absolutely no complaints about, on the contrary, it was the best modified campaign experience I've ever played. I really hope there’s a continuation with Arthas as a DK.

Well, I didn't love it as much as most people, but I still enjoyed it. While it's true that it adds countless variations to the game, in the form of quests, new units, items, and so on, at a certain point it became a bit cumbersome. I'm not quite sure how to say it in English, but as they say in my town, "less is more." It's undoubtedly an excellent piece of work and is among the best reworks of this campaign (and there must be like a million of them), but that may also have contributed to why I didn't love it as much.

But whatever, it's an excellent campaign.

Thank you for the feedback. Regarding the issues with the translated text, Tulee should resolve them in subsequent version updates. The UD project may take some time, as I'm too busy in real life.
The cult of the damned ramps up the difficulty for no reason. I'm on normal. It needs immediate nerfing.
You can try relocating the base. Defending in a place that is open on all sides is the difficulty of this level.
