Long before before the corruption of the Dark God known as Blakoth, the Satyr were a peaceful people, similar to the humans of the East. These Creatures wore elaborate silk clothing, admired the fine arts, and were technologically advanced. Although, one dark day two hundred years before the birth of Ashan, the Dark Gods Blakoth and Nag'hullak appeared, the location in which Blakoth appeared was known as the Cairn Mountains. The Race that would be known as the Satyr dwelled there, and they viewed his coming as a sign of great fortune, as such they did all that he said, and he began to teach them of the dark magics, and how to increase their power. They were well unaware of how corrupting his influence was, as they delve deeper and deeper into corruption under his influence. Until even their physical forms were twisted to that of what seemed to be half-goat like creatures. Thus was the begining of the race that is now known as the Satyr, forsaking all concepts of Culture, and
civility these were truly servants of Corruption.
As the years progressed, the Satyr people under the influence of their Dark God Blakoth, migrated under cover of night, and passage of forest to the regions of Duin Bar, and Seiga Neuntius. Quickly corrupting the very forests around them, using the dark magics taught them by Blakoth, these beasts even managed to corrupt the most ancient of the great forest ent protectors, of which the region of Duin Bar is named after. With such a great incarnation of Nature even under their corruption, the Satyr had made their presence known.
This caused a immediate response from the Village of Darkborne, the leader of this village Viceroy Lohun, was sent to negotiate with the Satyr, and see what they desired. They told him that they wanted to assimilate the various cultures, and make them see that Blakoth is the one true God. Lohun viewed this as a outarge and soon escaped back to the Village of Darkborne, which was largely populated by Elves and Men. He soon established a large militia force and began to march on Duin Bar, in a attempt to rid the Area of the Satyr.
The satyr in response to this turn of Events began to summon the Pitlord known as Zular H'sa the most trusted servant of Blakoth, his summoning darkening the entire sky around the Continent of D`or. Upon reaching this World Zular H'sa oraganized the Satyr into a large army, arming them with demonically enhanced blades, he himself wielding the a Scythe of Pure Demonic Energy.
The two armies soon assembled in the Valley Between Darkborne and Duin Bar. Zular H'sa examined the battlefield in disgust as he saw what he considered to be puny mortal foes standing in opposition to the hordes of corruption. He led the assault head on his terrifying roar could be heard as he charged along the battlefield, the horde of satyr charging alongside him. The humans and Elves began to flee as the Satyr and Zular H'sa cut them down mercilessly, their ranks thining at a rapid pace and then a silence fell over the crowd of men, elves, and satyr. Viceroy Lohun charged headlong at the Pitlord, his large hammer slamming into the Pitlords skull and crushing it in one blow. A loud crack was heard, and lightning pierced the sky, as the satyrs body evaporated into demonic essence, but the essence rushed at Viceroy Lohun, quickly entering unto his body, the Entire Spirit of Zular H'sa had inhabitated Lohun's body and made it into his vessel. His victory assured Zular laughed, not caring that he had lost his Pitlord form, as the humans and elves all bowed down in fear to the mighty Pitlord who could evade even his own death. Thus the Village of Darkborne was corrupted and the Fallen Elves and Vampires were born.
