The name says it all. Whenever i go to publish my map, it comes with the error

My map is fine.. idk why its doing that. ne1 know?

Quite simple actually. Words like Starcraft, Warcraft, etc are blocked from uploading. Due to a well know, god damn it, worthless system Blizzard ever created, the profanity filter.

Blizzard should have a full and complete list of censored words available to everyone in plain sight. Yes, I think Blizzard really is foolish enough to do that.

Search EVERYWHERE in your map for that word.

Blizzard blocks Starcraft in Starcraft II - Wings of liberty....
Wow... That seems rather pointless as everyone who plays it will have paid and brought the game of that name yet can not make maps with it.

I am sure there is a way around it. It probably only searches complete strings or in specific files.

In the case of triggers you can use concatination to fool it I believe cause I seriously doubt the scan is deep enough to search algerthims which can possibly generate a denied string.

We shell see, the game will be out soon and hopefully all testing stuff will be removed. I hope it was just them testing the system rather than it being the actual thing they will use.

They already stated that most of the censored words were for testing purposes only and would be removed by the time the game is released.

It probably feeds back to their servers any time a word fails the censor. It would provide information on how reliable and how used it is so I guess the test was pretty good.

Ok Blizzard is not idiot maybe
Go to map box in editor
(file->edit->view->layer->tools->data->map<-this one)
after that to map info and change real name of map(Just Another StarCraft II Map) to your own real name that is all
but if you want to upload map in EU big problem man need to change link to server(i don't know how to do this)

You can not upload to EU, atleast during beta phase 2 cause the publish servers are down.

Obviously they should be working normally come release.

neway, you could have Warcraft III in the reg wc3 names, you probally will be able to with the official version of sc2 or theyre just plain brainless..

USA publish servers were down for a while but came back up about a week after the phase 2 start, just be patient lol. Or wait 9 days (for USA, no clue bout EU)
