Keep up the great work but I hope this is better than the other one.
*Map size was big for stupid reasons.
* Terrain was to simple.
*Got boring quickly.
I have been following this thread and its looking promising, hopefully does not different I mentioned above.

Hey bro here is an idea for a quest:

You have to go to a few different parts of the map, to certain locations; forests, cities, volcanoes, etc.. and you have to find a flower boss.. after defeating each flower boss, one flower petal is dropped, which you pick up, (each flower boss and petal has a different color, and gives different stats/bonuses). and when you finally collect all of the petals, they combine together to make a super item with a special ability you can activate by clicking on the item in ur inventory. What it does is release a scent which draws ALL surrounding enemies towards you, and when close to you, stuns them for 5 or 10 seconds, this can be powerful in combonation with AOE spells. What do you think???

This can be one of the quests that a herbalist NPC can give you, among other herbalist quests. But please make it clear to player exactly where he has to look / go to find each of the flower monsters / flower bosses.

P.S I have sent you a private message in regards to another quest / treasure map idea that I had, let me know what you think,

wow!what a great map.but i think multiplayer game are better than single player game.that,in turn,you can inncrease the difficulty of the game.

Thief (Melee)
  • Mess someone up: Next basic attack will jab the target's throat, dealing bonus damage and deal damage per second.
  • Get 'em!: Becomes invisible for a few seconds, after breaking invisibility, you receive bonus attack speed for 3 seconds.
  • Point Greed (Passive): Increases item drop rate and attack speed.
  • Bounty Hunt(Ultimate): Reduces target armor and grants bonus gold if the target dies before the duration ends.

Brigand (Ranged)
  • Stand and Deliver (Toggle): 20% chance to retaliate to the enemy attacks by bashing with your shield dealing attack damage. Unparried attacks get reduced instead. You also gain bonus damage but unable to move and cast Jump 'em! while this skill is active.
  • Jump 'em!: Jumps to the target enemy, dealing bonus damage based on agility and slows movespeed.
  • Envenomed Spears (Passive): Your attacks slow enemy attack speed and deal damage per second.
  • Say your prayers! (Ultimate): Reduces target armor greatly and slows movespeed. Half duration on bosses.

It matters me not if you turn down this one. It's just my suggestion after all.

Hard to tell. I'm working on it on my free time and it goes slower than I hoped.
Not that I am in hurry. I prefer to work it a bit longer and make it as good as I want rather than rush it.
I'm working on it more than a year but I start to see light in the end of the tunnel! :D

So the riddle chests...
How if there is a really a library in the game providing some related information?
Of course there can be some book providing useless information, or cool facts, so and this map can be also some sort of detective game

I really enjoyed the first map and I'm really interested in seeing the result this project. :)
One question (and sorry, if it has already been asked, but I couldn't find it here):
Will there be any differences in the dialogues by selecting different classes? I played the first part with both the Vampire and the Warlock but didn't recognise any.

Yes there will be different dialogs depending on your class. The examples you mentioned Vampire and Warlock are not "good" characters and their actions are greed motivated.
In return the people of the kingdom don't look upon a vampire with the same way as they look upon a paladin.
Don't expect a big difference or change of quest paths due to this. The work to trigger the dialogs for each class is time-consuming already. Making all quests different depending on the class would be nearly impossible (unless people want to play my map in 10 years :p ).
In conclusion, the quest paths are the same. The motives for doing them are depending on your class and are different for each.

Yeah, I figured that it'd be too much work to make all quests depending on class. But good to know that there are differences. It makes the dialogues look more credible. I wouldn't call an evil vampire a good, selfless and honorable hero for example.^^
It's also good for the replayability. Maybe this time I'll also play a good hero - after one of the bad guys, that is. ;P

Hello everyone!

After some thoughts I decided to change the teleport system. If you played The Prophecy of the Dark Angel Part 1, you surely remember the Dimension Door spell that allowed you to teleport to a discovered Obelisk of Souls.
This spell is deleted now and replaced with a full working Waypoint System that allows you to teleport from OBELISK TO OBELISK once you've discovered them.
The reason to change this is to prevent players from "teleporting out" of boss fights or difficult situations and purely using the feature for faster moving around the map.
Sure, that might force the player to walk great distances from the wilderness to the nearest Obelisk but will add a challenge to the game and make some scripted boss fights more tence.
Although the decision of the feature is pretty much final, your thoughts are appriciated.

I think it's more than a year actually... hehe
When I finish the core and main part of the map I will probably release it and then update it every time with more optional quest. I'm not supporting this idea 100% though and might drop it.
All in all I'm sorry for making you wait so long. Thank you for your patience.

hi, if you are changing the dimension door system, will you plz make heroes run a little bit faster? well I am not even sure is it even possible as i dont know anything about modding and staff.
and i like troll heroes like V'ojin with self-healing wave and poison spears..and including an orb of venom with dramatically increase the damage.. plz plz can you include that..

After a long time I can continue working on this map.
I decided to drop the original idea of each class having two specializations to chose from and I will update shortly on the new heroes' information.
Each class will have a unique Trait ability, in addition to the rest of the spells.

Hi, I have played many of maps and campaigns, but you were the first to convince me to register on hiveworkshop just to comment :D Your first map is really epic! I played it for about 9 hours until sunrise (oops XD) Story, terrains, heroes and skills - all of them was totally amazing :D I'm really glad, that you are making 2nd episode, and that you recently refreshed your project. I'm crossing fingers for you, good luck and mainly - have fun with it! :D

Yesterday I played in your first map. And nearly - 4AM, I with my Ilona - human sorcerer, finish main quest. I hope, that you will complete second part, however last update was in 2014.

I scrapped and re-designed an ancient city area (not showing in the screenshots) to look better. Also the old one had limited space to move and would probably be frustrating.
I know you guys may get frustrated by waiting for the release of the map but when you feel you can do something better, you just have to do it... Don't you agree?

No need to hurry.

THose who are still playing W3 instead of other newer games have patience :D I will play your map next week or next year. Only my death will stop me for enjoying this map if/when you release it :D
