The map i'm going to make with custom heros

you need abilities?
or heroes?

Abilities;
Poison ward - (like stasis ward) gives emeny never ending poison.
Earthquaqe Knuckle: the warstomp effect + knockback in a punching motion
darkness pierce (like the wardens thingy that constantly hovers above an enemy and attacks)
only more damaga and a different effect.
stopping there for now.
everyone give some intel will ya.

since nobody else has replied...

Dimension Gaze - dark summoning effect on target, target stunned for long period of time.

Holy Retribution - starfall with the stars changed to the holy bolt model file. (lotsa bolts) (lil damage) (huge area)

Solar winds - sends 6 yellow colored hurricanes in front of you, each does ## amount of damage to target. dmage and range increase with lvl

Sharp Fang - each attack has a potential to cuase bleeding (activates shadow strike on target) lasts for ## amount of time per level. (shadow strike looks like target bleeding ( one of the death models)

Crushing headbutt - High damage ,high chance stunning for long times. (target is bumped into the ground for a small amount of time) (target is dazed and cant move)


Power Aura - aura that gives every friendly unit in range, extra chance to do criticals.

end of a few ideas.
people please give some ideas. ^_^

A system I use when making heroes is to ensure that they all start on an even platform, so I make a base hero unit. I then copy it and alter its stats to give it an individual character while remaining in control of the balancing of the map.

but thats just me ;)

hehe, I swear because I love :)

I'm also a little upset because VW died. Although I suppose I'm the one who killed it :S

I'm hoping my nw project will be more accessible, people just couldnt seem to grasp the basics of VW, so I decided to lower the bar and make a map full of mindless hero based killing action.

Anyway, shameless plug over.

And random apologies for all past, present and future offence/violations ;)

Angelic Spear - Shockwave exept model file is starfall, Starfall summoning effect goes into effect in a straight line toward the enemy, effect lingers every1 square (damage and length of spear changes with lvl)

Dude, those are some awsome sounding abilities

I don't know if I could pull any of them off but seriously... WOW

Its too bad blizzard didnt design the buffs to hold the effect instead of the ability. I can't count the amount of times ive had to scrap an ability because of that.

just make that one trigger that restarts the ability file once its halfway.
instant nonstop going line of ability effects.
Becareful this cuases it to stack.
