On every halloween, The Mad King awakens for several days to satisfy his need for new power and servants, threatening to leave his dark and fiery realm should the people not give him what he requires of them. Check the upcoming discussions in the social group Mad King's Realm for all of the preparations being done to send the Mad King back to sleep. Be swift, should you not succeed in closing his realm, christmas will be ruined and the Mad King will continue to unleash his terror during winter! Group Information: This special social group will change its theme for every holiday, whether it's Halloween or Christmas. The group is primarily a role-playing assembly of the community, with multiple contests and great rewards! To kick it all off, there will be 3 contests: Terraining Contest: Create a terrain that you think represents the Mad King's dark Realm. Contestants must have joined the group and must post their WIPs inside a discussion created in the group and their final entry must be added as a picture to the group's album. [View discussion] Writing Contest: Write a poem praising the Mad King's greatness and supreme power. WIPs and final entries to be posted in the specific discussion. [View discussion] Modeling Contest: Create a model representing the Mad King's new servant! He seeks a powerful, but at the same time intelligent creature, so be creative! Perhaps regular threads in the Arena forum or something would make more sense considering how social groups never were that active. Either way, this is an interesting approach to Halloween, are we to expect more of these events for Christmas, Easter and so on?

Intriguing. While I doubt I'll participate in any of these contests (I prefer working on my maps is all), I'll be lurking in the shadows observing what comes from this; something good, I hope (and think).
