Looks more like a nordic Valkyrie to me (or how ever you write it) a roman gladiatrix maybe? (dunno) anyway, it's good.

the model has some clipping though, and attack 2 just looks really weird, why not make custom animations?

Damn, that legion commander looks awesome! I'd suggest using another face texture, beacause that's Dota, not fucking LoL where every female hero has makup beyond recognition and has boobs to the floor. So a warrior woman shouldn't really have makeup.
Another thing is the weapon. It's too simple, and looks like an axe, whereas LC is actually wearing a really neat polearm...

Otherwise awesome. LC is my favorite hero from Dota2. Dem cheap snowballin' duels

When examining the individual parts of this model, the quality is only average, however the end result is really beautiful model. It's also nice to see a model that uses paladin animations without being your stereotypical paladin.

This is a good model. The sorceress face is cute, the armor is neat (pointy boobs?), I like the weapon and the glow, the antlers on her back are... a new idea, and the texture is great.
However, the weapon clips through the cape during stand animations, and her arm goes through her shoulders during Attack-2 animations. The leg pauldrons aren't situated correctly, they're not symmetric and one of them deviates to the back. (Are the two capes intentionally different in length?).
This is a great model, but these little tiny drawbacks can trigger a player's OCD.

Sorry for my ignorance, but isn't this for swapping the model in a custom map and not in the gamefiles? I'm asking this because DotA maps are protected and I can't open them with the world editor.
I could manage to swap the model in the gamefiles by using this tutorial:
