This is an MPQ-based custom race melee mod using WCIII Classic version 1.30.4.11274.
While it is currently only consisting of one faction, I intend for others to exist later. The existing faction here has 3 primary components:
1. Upgrades are split into Biological and Construct, Biological offers up utilities and several are susceptible to "Marks" that enhance them into stronger and more useful variants of themselves. Constructs on the other hand are split between infernal units which are considered "Summoned", and outright mechanical creations.
2. Power at the cost of low Sustainability. This faction has more powerful variants of existing abilities that are less sustainable. This means the Infernalis Bulwark suffers in long term engagements, but excels in short-term battles.
3. Almost everything has some ability, nothing is entirely mundane. While it may be passives, other units possess activated effects or active-targeted spells. This means mana is an important resource to this faction. Thus, the basic production structure can regenerate mana for nearby biological units, and mechanical units can benefit from Brilliance Aura.
The mod's MPQ is located here.
The Discord is here, where you may view updates and the changelog, and discuss the mod. Also in the Discord is every workshop link I could find a source of on Hive. I will take things down if requested, or delete this thread if needed. I also wish to eventually make a campaign, but without a team cannot accomplish this, and currently lack any. If anyone is interested, you are free to ask me. I am also very glad to receive criticism as long as it's respectful, so do please tell me how to improve upon what I have here.
An MPQ is what Warcraft III used as its primary libraries during pre-reforged eras. I do not know much about them but they at minimum act as a convenient assets library, I am wanting to know and learn more, though almost everything is an asset, from sounds to models to even textures.

The Infernalis Sect is a cult of the Burning Legion that had been lured into a trap and destroyed after following a promise for a chance to re-enter the Burning Legion Proper. Why were they seperate? Because they fell into religious passion and dedication to a strange living Fel-Flame that seems to have manipulated their mana addiction and corrupted them to view Fel Flame as a righteous purifying flame and Infernals are produced much more fervently and as a core portion of their armies. But now, a butterfly effect of time has managed to distract them just before they received the message that would spell their doom, luring them to Azeroth for the Old God N'Zoth strikes at the Bronze Dragonflight!! 4 Brave Heroes follow in attempts to stop whatever has been begun. While this is all backstory for now, it is intended that a campaign would explore this, as it would take place following the Rexxar Campaign regarding when on the timeline it is.
The Infernalis Sect faction is made to represent the cut demon faction brought a bit into modern WoW style but also flavored heavily around fire. Their units are often powerful but costly, but every unit has a use-case. Infernal type units are considered "Summoned" but spells that take control of summoned units will instead deal damage to them rather than taking control, and some biological units can be upgraded into stronger variants of themselves.

The workers of the Infernalis Sect are Small Infernal constructs that have a weak variant of Permanent Immolation. They additionally have Infernal Harvesters which are roughly equivelants to Goblin Shredders but harvest less efficiently and are more defensive.
Loyal Succubus - Basic, weak troop unit that has decent health regeneration rate. At T2 they can receive the "Cute Charm" upgrade, which grants a chance to deal bonus damage on hit and stun for 2 seconds, but a secondary chance to additionally dodge incoming attacks due to their charming allure being hard to damage. Additionally they possess the T3 "Mark of Lust" upgrade, which requires the Forbidden Archives and T3 but upgrades them into Loyal Seducers, gaining additional stats, higher health regeneration and Vampiric attacks.
Minifernal - Short-Ranged Medium Infernal unit with Permanent Immolation. They can receive the "Seeking Stones" upgrade which requires the Heavy Arms Portal, which grants them a bouncing chaos attack as well as access to firebolt(F hotkey). Additionally they can receive the "Explosive Donator" upgrade, which grants them the Firey Gift suicide ability, that uses up the entire mana pool and a channel time before detonating.
Blazefiend - Medium T2 unit that has a melee siege attack, and can cast Immolation. Additionally they possess the T3 "Mark of Pride" upgrade, which requires the Forbidden Archives and T3 but upgrades them into Emblazened Enforcers, gaining additional stats, better Immolation, and Cleaving Attack.

They can receive the "Hunting Hounds" upgrade, which grants them a quill-based AA Attack and Anti-Magic Shell. Additionally they possess the T2 "Mark of Lust" upgrade, which requires the Forbidden Archives but upgrades them into Fel Devourers, gaining additional stats and Searing Talons, which increases damage dealt by expending mana to light their talons aflame.
Netherwing Drake - T2 Heavy Flying Unit, Nether Dragons specially bonded and enhanced with powerful magics, possessing both Banish and Spell Immunity. They can receive the "Shadowsight" upgrade to increase their vision range and obtain Ultravision. At T3 they can additionally receive the "Netherwing Shadows" upgrade, which grants them Shadow Meld and additional mana regeneration.

Infernal Cremator - Requires Forbidden Archives, a heavy and slow War Machine that leaves trails of fel fire on attack. Can receive the "Inferno Call Button" upgrade which requires T3, which grants it an ability of the same name that summons an infernal rock from the sky, creating a Shock-Infernal.

Shock-Infernal
Malformed Infernal - Basic T2 Support Spellcaster, ordinary Legion Infernal crafters will throw out rejects or keep iterating until it is done, but the Infernalis found that some Infernals best serve as casters, thus rejects are converted into makeshift casters that provide a vital support role for the greater forces of the Infernalis Sect. Can initially cast Essence Drain, which drains the life and mana of a target enemy unit with a long cooldown. One Caster Upgrade grants them Fel Heal, which heals in a burst initially is faster than other passive heals and can affect mechanical but has a longer wait period between and consumes mana at a high rate. A second Caster Upgrade then grants them Fel Infusion, which concentrates Fel Magics and then releases it in a burst to grant a ravenous frenzy to nearby biological units.

A second Caster Upgrade then grants them Overclock, which buffs a target mechanical unit equivelant to Bloodlust but deals a bit of initial damage on usage.
Satyr Betrayer - T2 Harass and Assassination Caster, they have chosen to take the side of the new demons arriving to this world, hoping to join the Infernalis in their crusade to rejoin the Legion proper and prove themselves an invaluable asset, even if they must work with crazy fire-lovers. Initially has Envenomed Blades, Shadow Meld and can cast Taunt. One Caster Upgrade grants them Wind Walk. A second Caster Upgrade then grants them Shadow Strike.
