VGsatomi: Approved. Other then the imported models, this map did not have much of a halo feel to it. Could surely use better choices for unit voices.

please tell me how to fix this one error so i can fix attachments and projectiles and liven up the bases. when editor loads map, doodads and all go fine bu when it trys to load units it says unit file missing or incomplete wtf i do? otherwise this map was hmm 8/10 cuz of those i said before and because of way too easy to get money

The map is protected, most people protect maps so other people can't screw around with them or steal them.
For this reason it's not allowed to edit the map unless the author gives u permission to do so.
So giving it a lower rating because you can't edit it is very bad.
If you want changes you can PM or mail the author with suggestion and perhaps he will do it.

And DaBest5467, don't double post man, use the edit button.

I am happy somebody made a map like this, when I first heared of Halo Wars I was sure I would buy it, then I heared they would not make it for pc and it made me sad. xD
You realy have to make the terrain more uber though!
I can't wait for this map to be 100% complete, I'm so gonna play it every week! ^^
(Oh yeh, if u want I could help you with terrain, I just finished my last map request.)

Wouldn't it be better if you waited for the game to come out before trying to make this? I mean you can play as humans or Covenant only. Flood never appeared since this is prequel to Halo 1, try making a squad after production is finished to make it epic like instead of just 1 unit.

For that cannot load model thing is because you got it on the wrong path I guess, or it's been deleted from the import manager.

The terrain is going to be the next thing I do. I realize it's not the best but keep in mind, I did this like a year ago and just started getting some time to work on it again.

Well if your not patient you wanna do a pre-release of the game instead of making this. If your patient wait 6 months for the game to be released (if not delayed). What I hate about Halo Wars (not this map the real one) is that it's exculsive to the 360 not in PC.. I DONT OWN A BLOODY 360.

This map is um......not true to its description.
I mean WHAT? This map ain't like Halo Wars at all.
And besides, Halo Wars is being made by Ensemble Studios and NOT Bungie.
Bah I'll just sum it up in bad/good points.

Bad

Description
Not that much effort put into it ("tooltip missing!" anyone?)
Not really "halo"
Factions basically being mirrors (continuation of point number 2)
Flood having three units named "Flood" I mean, WHAT?
Not really staying true to Halo canon (there is no such thing as "Flood Breeding Hive" (but this is ok, just the name needs changing) or "Flood Giant") but I only mention this point cuz I don't like lore being messed with.

Good

The Idea is nice

Um so yeah, to sum it up:
Idea Good
Description Bad
Gameplay Ok
Terrain Ok
Canon BAD (I mean staying true to halo canon)

But this is just my opinion.

Oh and Halo Wars is an RTS!

btw i just got some new screenshots of the game and the humans have mechs for some odd reason dont ask me ask Ensemble Studios. It's just to bad there gonna be shut down after Halo Wars I miss Age of Mythology.
