The Gaunlet Multiplayer 0.58

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
Ocnain Presents

The Gaunlet Multiplayer
Created by Ocnain

Map Info:

This map is a multiplayer arena map, where players compete with each other to complete the objective chosen on game mode.
The objective is chosen by the player 1 (Red Player), and may be: Last Man Standing, Gold Race, Killing Race, Kills over time, First Archieve Level.
The interesting thing is: The positioning of creeps, heroes and Buildings are fully randomized. Ever game is different.

Game Flow:

As you play, you will notice the game has a flow. Ever player will need to make some steps to have a good gameplay. The gameplay flows this way:

  1. Players will recon the map, searching for secure places and fountains (as the map is randomized)
  2. Players will creep and level to be strong
  3. Players will start a hero hunt and a search to complete the map goal, where players work to kill others and to complete the mission

Features:

  • 3 arenas to battle
  • Up to 8 players
  • Free for All Game mode or Teams (up to 4v4)
  • 5 game modes until now
  • Game modes includes: Last Standing / Gold Hunt / Kill Count / Kills over Time / Level Reach (will be 7 when finished)
  • Lots of heroes to choose and lots will be implemented

Some else stuff about map:

Its funny to play with as much people as you can. If playing with 6-8 players, Huge Arena is recommended, if 3-6, Medium, and lesser, use Tiny Arena.
As ever game is different, you will see it has lot of replayability.

Tips for new players:

Recon the map is a must. You have to know where to run, where to regain HP/MP and where to buy items

Build Sentry Staffs, to know where your enermies are going and to ambush them

Control High Ground is a good go

Author's notes:

This map is mine, despite my nick here being Nain. Its because I use both nicks online. I created the map using nick Ocnain, but I registered here as Nain.

Reasons:
Lacking Description: Template
Memory Leaks are not destroyed: Leaks tutorial
Poor and lacking terrain: Terrain Tutorial
The triggers are inefficient: Triggering Tutorials

Other:
Check out the tutorials section: Tutorials
Check out the Map Development Section: Map Development Section
Check out the World Editor Help Zone (Trigger issues, object editor, overall WE issues): WE Help Zone

Comment: The terrain is a complete mess, too many random terrain heights, not smooth at all, also too empty and some randomly placed doodads.
And of course, the triggering. Check the links above.

I use both nicknames. I had an account here, on hive, with the name Ocnain, but I lost it (and I also think this account is no more active because I've uploaded this map before, in an older version, and it is no more here). So I created another with Nain. Same person, both nicks. Have it a problem? If has, I can change the nick of the map. I am the map developer since scratch. First version was 0.20 (first playable one). I also use Gameranger, with the nick Ocnain and play with friends this map. They help me a lot finding bugs and givving oppinions: the smaller arenas and the lives are oppinions from players. This game is developed in the players taste.

Nope for now, but if someone with that name come here and ask why is this map here uploaded we will reject it and punish you because of stealing :)
Btw I found it http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/members/ocnain/
You should contact admins in admin contact forum and explain situation to them so no one can bother you for multiaccounting.

If you need any other help related to administration or moderation just ask, comment here, visitor message, private message, anything will do.

Now about map itself:
Map presentation is poor.
We want to see screenshots, change log, credit list, features, info etc etc etc

Thanks for help. That was a loong time ago since I registered here. The true is: I not even remembered it before register again.
Omg... Make all that after all the work I had on the map development... o_O
Ok.... I will start it asap.

Started. How is it? Thats not a veeery good one, but should be sufficient by now. Who does approve the map? How it works? When do it will stop being pending and will be a "real" map?
