A ruins city which is in the battle for the world ending. Choose a team and fight for it.

Okay this really needs some changes and such though I like the terrian and its a fun idea. The priests/acolyte need to be placed as heroes, the map needs creeps to make it more interesting, maybe some AI for single player, and items would be nice.

thx for playing and saying what you think about this map.

It's normal the priests/acolytes aren't heroes, it's too basic to control heroes so I would change that. I will placed them to heroes anyway and see if it's better.

At the beginning, I would placed creeps but without heroes I thought it's useless. It's the same for items.

The idea was to fight against other people and have fun with them, I think a single player mode eradicate the fun.

If you don't want it easy to control them or find them turn off the ability for them to have a portrait in the top left corner and turn off the minimap sight of the heroes.

Wait a minute, is this based on the Darksiders(video game) story?

Not really, I didn't know the story of Darksiders when i started the map

From what I saw in the description, You don't seem to have any triggered ability.
You should put some. Maybe 2 for each hero.

You spelled percentage as pourcentage
percentage comes from the French "pour cent" (out of hundred or per hundred), so 1 percent is 1 out of hundred (1/100), so I wouldn't really mind if someone calls it pourcentage, but I guess it's a mistake, yes ^^

Anyway, from all previous comments + description: approved (though I would recommend hidden-tags for the Catholic Church as well).

This map is awful... In the beginning it's so boring it's annoying... everyone leaves it because it's so horrible... the camera, the spells (a hero version of a priest? oh great, i can totally kill red-camp creeps easily!)... i wanted to get to the paladins vs horsemen, rly i did... but i couldn't, it was just so stupid... we, priests, helped acolytes destroy levers... and then portal, but nothing was happening!
change the map genre... this is anything but hero defense/survival

Camera : Can you explain why you doesn't like the camera? What should i do to improve it?

I explain my choice of the map genre :

Defense :
  • Priest must defend levers
  • After Acolytes must defend the portal
Survival :
  • When levers are desactivated heroes who die doesn't revive
Offense :
  • Acolytes must destroy levers
  • Priest must destroy the portal

Very cool game mayn:goblin_yeah:. The idea is great, terrain is good and a nice gameplay.:ogre_hurrhurr:

But it could be a even better if u add AI so people could play this where and when thay want too.:ogre_haosis:

To all that still have doubts somehow, this game ins't based on video game, movie, whatever. It is based on Bible itself, on the Apocalypse/Genesis book. Many video games and movies are also based on it, but not as many of you though. Uncultured bastards.

(I remember only 4 horsemen, not five. That's propably why you traded between pestilence and conquest. Also, to you WoW lovers, if you still hadn't figure it out, Naxxramas have the same pack of horsemen: Sir Zeliek, the holy death knight would be conquest, since his horse is completely white. There is no red horse, but I would guess Lady Blameux. Famine/Plague would be Thane, and Death itself would be Baron Rivendare.)

Also, I have a feeling that everyone's abilities are incredibly OPs. But I'll have to test it to figure it out. Downloading.

Edit: Also, a suggestion (still haven't downloaded it). Maybe put the soundtrack a little part of the music (also as a tribute to wow, perhaps) Goodnight Saigon.

Without detailled feedback you can really improve a map. You believe everything is ok so i called a final version.

You mean like cities in WoW without NPCs, could be interresting
Paladins have two same abilities to allow them to survive
When a team own every rally points a wave of fighters attack the other team
Summoning pedestals can be useful at the beginning to survive when you are a priest
I will see what i can do for the creeps from the levers

if possible. Maybe make each knight/paladin a respective color, so that the abilities are linked to each other.

The buff have been dispell? If yes everything is right.

It's great to suggest to put some music but What the music will add to the map? (It's not i don't put a music just i want to know why suggest it?)

Knights appear automatically 2 min after the portal is fixed (quite easy to have them)
Summoning books appear when the portal is fixed just need to know which book and which spell use to have Paladins (more difficult to have them but it's an option)
Anyway i will think about if i make a way to have Knights ans Paladins
the Paladin with sheep skills, it's to make the game funnier (even if it's silly)

I'm going to play again and see what else I can tell you.

Yeah, about the bases, there would be 3 options. Make a base without nothing on it, like a safe point only (like Ninja vs Samurai). Make a base with units that after the portal is fixed would be roaming around and fighting each other (like a litte AoS... the creeps would be decimated after the portal is fixed. The base would be 1st somewhere else, and after the portal is fixed would be moved there. The same to the Paladin's base (First would be in the corner where I saw most of them beginning... the southwest. And the acolytes would begin in the northeast instead... and choose either to try to take those two levers together, but with stronger creeps, or try to rush the other two levers. Then, if the portal is fixed (which is between the 2 bases from a equal distance) the bases go there... or either, the bases still where they are, but the wave units would come from the portal (and perhaps from a portal God made himself, but of course with weaker units... well, I don't know, it depends. And the rally points would be like a reinforcement for them.)

Actually, would be better to replace all creeps with undead/human, and preferrably units allied to the priests. And I though that they were strange because there were no info about them... I do not remember if there are a "tips" thing, but if there are, write about Confession, rally points, etc. Indepedent if there are or not, you should add some info, like -help which listens a list of commands to customize the game (like camera) to more info about determined things (like those which I said) Also, My teammates couldn't get the confession bonus, only I could, even after my bonus had been dispelled. Each color (like red blue teal and purple make the priests team) would be related to ONE paladin. And so its priests would have related skills. (For example, one of the priests would have sheepy skills o.o)

One summoned the paladins, and then someone resummoned them. Then the little window that allows you to choose your paladin bugged, since you cannot choose a paladin that has been chosen before. But since technically all paladins were chosen, everytime you pressed any button of the window it would always say "This paladin have already been choosen." And everytime they would say that the window just repopped...

Well, depends on the music. Specifically Goognight Saigon would add a greater climate to the union of both factions... I think. That's what I feel at least whenever I hear it. I never found the book myself :O Also, when I fixed the portal, the game ended for me o_O maybe it is related to the fact that everyone had already left D: You need to put a twist to attract players... since you only get the 4 horsemen on the very end.

About bases idea i will make it but only for Acolytes (when the portal is fixed). In this way Priests must use rally points to attack the portal and Acolytes' base will only have guards. Because if each team have a base, each team use the same gameplay type.

Replace creeps : it's just a detail maybe later but i will add a allied player controlled by the computer to protect levers

I think the "one priest related to one paladin" idea is not really good because that remove the choice of your hero, you can choose your horsemen it must be the same for Paladins

It's because everyone left i think, Fix the portal turn on a series of action
it's the end only if there isn't enemies heroes alive after that.
About the twist, maybe i will put an event for each levers is desactivated (i don't know what yet)

I like your idea in making this map, but how come the Horsemen are classified satanic? in the bible, their actually the crusaders of god's wrath, just wanna share, good map, I like things that has supernatural elements in the game, 10/10! :grin:

the game started, it went through a cinematic with a priest and gave me a paly then i clicked him and it crashed. It was only about 30 seconds into the game. Haven't tried it again, maybe it was an isolated incidence.

I haven't see this bug (maybe because i test alone) but i think it's because 2 triggers works at the same time (you and your friend hasn't choose the same game mode) so i just add conditions on them.

Map updated : Game mode dialog should works.
