I love Loap Death and God, but its so dam hard to find mature players who can deal with not being either.

There is an unprotected version that I want to edit so that God and Death are selected randomly from the peasants, so people wont come in, see D&G filled, and leave.

Its a noble cause if you ask me, but is it just as bad as editing 40k TD?

Maybe you should ask then to do it themselves, and if they wont you could say that you have an unprotected version and could do it yourself, and then protect it.
I am not against editing wh40kTD it's just I want the people editing it to do it properly. Instead of all those Wintermaul's out there. Like 95% of all td's are from Wintermaul..
If it was me editing some map, I would add a list of changes and maybe say that this is not an original version and maybe not add your name anywhere...

Aye, be honourable about it. Do you have any way of contacting the creator of the map?

User name is not as helpful as an e-mail address or a website. There are four Realms, afterall, so just having a name does not do a lot of good really.

Good luck with that.

Most triggers are not too terribly difficult, but it is better for the creator to make changes since it is their vision to begin with.
