I suggest if you have time, you could make other super hero models. Like Hulk, Superman, etc.

It bothers me that captain america is a draenei wheras ironman and thor look like their respective movie counterparts.

There are unanimated models from CR, Trishroom which are very good quality.
Here they are for you to animate
Thor's Hammer is not the same as Paladin
Though for Thor, it's easy using Model Editor to get rid of his hammer and replace it with Thor's Mjolnir (the handle is much shorter) via model attachment.
