The Arena's functions

Hi everybody, I'm wondering if The Arena's contest are only for WC3 or if they are also for different contests? Also I am wondering who is allowed to host a contest?

2. Mods (you can make a submission for a contest, then if its approved a mod will host it)

Mods usually host contests, and they all have to do with Wc3.

Alright, so thats for the arena. Would I be able to host a contest on the storyboard section let's say? Or does a mod need to do that as well?

Of course there are exceptions to this.

Cavman hosted the recent modeling contest
You hosted speed mapping contest #1
Septimus hosted campaign contest #1

Plus there are other non-wc3 contests:

Concept art contests
Voice acting (somewhat related to wc3 but not completely)
Comic contests
Emoticon contest

So yeah, if you want to try hosting a contest then there's no reason why you can't.

Alright perfect, Thats all I needed to know, because I might be making a contest soon , although Ill probably have to speak to a mod about the rewards >.>
