Texturing program

I would like to learn how to texture.
I realize that somewhere on this forum there is a section that explains this but i sadly cannot find it.

A link to the program and maybe a tutorial would be nice (tutorial is not needed however since i can always go to the helper.com).

Soory if this is considered spam and i am soory if this post annoys anyone, we all have to start from somewhere.
