[Trigger] text color editing

hey ppl, i've got a question about editing the color of a text in the editor. i know that you can do it by typing |c, then a series of 8 numbers, then your text, and finally |r, but i haven't got a clue what those eight numbers repressent . Any help appresiated.

First set of two letters/numbers is inconsequential, second set is for your red value, third set of two is the green, fourth set is blue. The scale ranges from 0-9 and then a-f, meaning that 0 is the lowest value, f is the highest, and a is just slightly higher in value as compared to a 9. Really, the easiest way is to find something that lets you pick a color swatch and then generates the code, but you may want to mess around for a while to see what colors you can come up with on your own.

the 8 letters are like this:

RR GG BB XX
XX is transparency I think.. it's not really used for anything..
RR = red
GG = green
BB = blue

Just FYI you have the order mixed up. Transparency is first (XX RR GG BB). I am 100% sure of this. But you are correct, transparency does nothing, as letters cannot be transparent.
