So, I've seen some people manage to do something I never figured out how to do with terrain, since I'm noob terrainer.

I was wondering, how do people make their terrain like this:

I don't mean how he gets tiles, I mean, how did Craka_J made the terrain so... Pointy.

On any attempt I did, it always turns out like this: http://i.imgur.com/TVrgrjq.jpg

I know its a dumb problem, but I'm really curious as to how that works. I dunno how to do it. :ogre_haosis::ogre_haosis:

On this thread there is a section called what are a terrainers main tools? Under this you can find a link for something called misc.txt

This will allow you to make steep hills up to 85 degrees. Just follow the instructions and you'll be good to go. You should also spend some time looking at the thread. It has a lot of great tips

The normal editor cannot do this as there is a maximum slope for terrain. You can bypass this limit by adjusting the "UI/miscdata.txt" file in your wc3 folder. The easier solution is to use JNGP (search forum), which comes with a modified miscdata.
