Well there are way too many active contests to start hosting more, atm. But this is planned to be the second contest to start.

I'm sure there are more triangles in environmental doodads than blocks...

Also, you can resize them or do whatever you want to them, so I don't really see the problem with LAG of all things. It's never been a problem before.

Don't we want MORE activity in the arena? So that if one contest is nearing it's end we start one so that there will always be some sort of overlay n such. But fine. Humph.

I agree totally. Gilles said something (I think it was him) about having a terrain contest running at WC3 Creations while the Hive one was having its poll/idea thread, and a terrain contest at Hive while the WC3 Creations one was having its poll/idea thread.

I talked to Ghan about it awhile ago and he said no. But I'll do some negotiating.

We don't want to flood the Arena. I'll see what I can do. We do have a bit of a situation in the Arena right now, and one of the possible solutions involves starting some new contests early.

If you have too many contests going, then they don't get as many participants.

I am aware of that. But we have another problem that may cause less participants in contests for, most likely, the next few months.
