Tech Tree Requirement Problem

Hey guys, I'm trying to make an ability available after I've build a certain building (which is actually a unit). I've added the required building to the techtree requirement list, but when I test the game, its available with out the building.

I'm guessing this has something to do with the fact that the buildings a unit? Because other abilities are only available after an actual building is constructed.
 
I realised the "Check Techtree Dependencies" was on false, I didnt know exactly what that meant untill I realised it obviously meant, "Bother to check if the requirements are met." Being on false, it obviously ignored the requirements I set.
