team coloring

Team color, and Transparency, on a skin, are the same thing. To make them you edit the alpha layer in photoshop when you're editing your skin (after having converted it from a blp to a tga). you can't change which areas of the skin use teamcolor or which use transparency, or which use neither though. that is done in the model itself. so unless you can look at the model to figure out which is which, if its not transparent or teamcolor to start with, mess with it and then test to see what you can do with it.

well I'm doing the team color in the same general area of where it was before, just the design is different. It doesn't even show team color in the parts where the old and new designs would have overlapped.

How would I find/edit the alpha?
