Tarzan swing

I was wondering if it might be possible to work out a Tarzan-swing type of hookshot spell. That is, use on a target, the unit moves towards it and then continues past it in the same direction, stopping once the starting caster-target distance has been reached.

Having no idea how to make this, putting it here in case someone's interested.
