By the way, dice system seems to be a bit unfair, unless if it determines a damage gap of 10 dmg. A formula is, of course, better. By the way, can I create?

DM: Melee Attack: Roll (1d6+ 6 for General Awesomeness): 5. (11)

RED: Just for showing you that a roll or announcement by the DM is coming up.
GREEN: This tells you what type of action the roll is for.
BLUE: This tells you how many dice are being rolled and of what type.
PURPLE: This tells you what bonuses will be added to the roll.
TEAL: This tells you the general result of the roll.
ORANGE: This tells you the result of the roll with bonuses added.

Instead, to be fair, calculate the damage or damage percentage you give the player, the bonuses of the weapons, the traits and all sorts, like combat triangle, element, etc. If the game uses a dice, a level 100 can hit 1 and a lvl 1 can hit 100 or something like that.

P.S. Even games like dungeon assault in funorb, although it pictures a dice being rolled, it uses a formula.

i am feeling like time-zone will be a huge minus in this RP oO. anyhow, the dice system is very simple, i use this dice roller and post the result in the format i showed you. also people, like Glycine, i really appreciate initiative from the players themselves, if i must i WILL create the skill trees but it are not MY characters and even tough i will customize them to fit into my world you are all free to make your own skill spell designs and give them to me.

If all of us can post at least once a day, I'd consider that amazing, if time zones are an issue. Not to mention the tournament will undoubtedly have a large number of NPC's to fight through, at least for the first round, so there won't be too much restriction, except for Phoonix to manage all of our individual battles.

i'd rather have you picking an existing race but then again, the world of Feradrill is big and unexplored, so other races could exist. If you insist i will allow you to make a custom race but it will have to be very well worked out.

Also last question before I attempt to write a character if a character has to personality's like multiple personalty's disorder should I make two characters sheets?

Well, it depends on what effects your personalities give. Are they a fun quirk of the character, meant to give depth and breadth to your roleplaying experience as well as a little humor, or do you want your personalities to have a real, tangible effect on the actions of your character? This latter example would be a peace-loving monk, turning into a bloodthirsty berserker with added strength, speed, etc, etc, you get the point.

And it's up to the DM's discretion, as usual.

@-peper- read up, everything in this thread i post is important even the things that are NOT in main post. i am making skill trees and whit it instead of classes character paths, this is so that i can use a dice system and well prevent god modding. this also gives me the freedom to set the story back to MY hand when someone tries to enforce his own story, don't worry tough, there will be a high variety of skills and sometimes you won't know what to choose.

OK, so people sorry for the wait, but i have been thinking about this allot lately (the skill trees that is) and i have come to the conclusion that making a warrior skill tree whiteout attacks in it is freakishly hard. The warrior skill three therefor will take some time to create, this is the same for almost all the melee classes, the reason i don't want attacks in those trees is because it would limit melee combat to much. The mage trees however will probably be finished today or tomorrow.

Description: Unknown, because he is completely cloaked in a...death eater suit, with robes and mask and he is gloved with very long black gloves and black socks. All we know about him that he is 1.8 meters and is very thin. He is adventurous and ill-mannered to most people and is nice to people that he likes/need to be polite with. His weak magical skill is combined with his ability to steal health/magical power, knowledge and to control beings, though beings with strong minds can resist the mind controlling and the knowledge-stealing effect, merely reducing it to a slowing and dizziness effect respectively. By the way, he can only control 1.
Equipment: A sapphire staff with a teak handle, 12 orbs of mana, which he drew magical power from it when he is running low on magical power.
Biography: Have a grudge against Nátulcien, which why is a mystery. Hates 'blacks' and elves.
Weapon of a Champion: A staff with an unknown name whose look looked like an ordinary staff, until it falls into the right hands, when it will look and become the best staff in the world, which is an 'overpowered' staff, whose power is unknown and a glove made out of the hide of a black dragon tipped with dragon claws. The glove enhance the wearer's psychic power, making a strong being able to create a black hole, resulting in a coma in the caster.

Ok. Seeing all the cacophony in the other thread isn't good. For one, it's not exactly wise for Phoonix to start up the thread and expect people not to rush to it. (Some of us are eager, which I can't frown upon. Prudence would have been advised, though.) I know the system isn't complete, but I'm not exactly in a rush to post. Our characters haven't even had their skill trees set up, which looks to be an integral part of the game.

That said, shame on everyone who posted in that thread after he said not to. If you want to argue about things, argue about them in this thread, where your one-sentence posts won't disrupt the beginning of the roleplay. What will we do now for that thread? Delete it and make a new one, because it's useless as a roleplay thread, unless the people who posted there start off the scenario?

i would completely agree whit the part where you said i shouldn't have started the thread yet Glycine if it was not that i already created the thread before i started this RP over again. Before this a guy named Jordon joined and he pretty much ruined everything, and then i restarted this. i will just have to bother asking a mod once again to clean up the thread of unwanted messages and of course if he does not do that fast it will be the fault of the people who kept posting there that the RP will once again be delayed. this incident also made it so that i will be less tolerant for such things in the future. If you want to piss me off people, please do so but you should also bear the consequences. i will not point fingers more than is needed however so this post will end this discussion once and for all, if i see even one more post about it in this thread i will gladly kick you out of the RP.

as for the skill trees, many of the mage trees are finished tough i will not update the paths until everything is finished. i still have a lot of work ahead of me.

@Midnighters: your very first reply there was perhaps not miss-placed but not necessary and even after i told you people to stop posting in it you kept doing it inviting even people from outside this RP to annoy me and post there, so as you ask, leave this RP and don't expect to join any of mine any time soon Mid. you could have just let it go, you could have asked Enjoy to clean it and no harm would have been done but you just keep going on about it and frankly I'm trough whit it, this RP is to enjoy you people and still you piss me off make me just want to quit it, i don't think that would make you happy would it?

The energy he control is all the normal energy, as well as dark energy, binary energy and uncyclopedic energy.
Description: He is like 150cm, white-skinned, blue-eyed, rude to beggars and normal people, polite to people he like, potentially like and important people, black-haired.
Equipment: a potion-sized mana 'orb' to absorb magical power, magical staff made out of normal wood and a green focus.
Biography: He hates nátulcien, why is unknown. Unknown to most people except natulcien, he sometimes venture to the wizard's tower in the plane of runescape to kill the lesser demon again and again.
Weapon of a Champion: A staff carved out of exceedingly pure mana, in three parts, the crystal, the stick and the focus guards. the focus guards are drew by a unbreakable magnetic force to the stick and the crystal is floating in the matrix made by the focus guards. The focus guards can move at will and only the worthy one can wield it. Rumor said that it is carved by the dark elves as a monument to the founding of mana orbs. It is very powerful and looks like glass. It can channel magic in any direction.

i have to agree whit -peper- on that account. what you describe is just a normal staff that can only be wielded by a select person, not that i will reject it for that but still. other than that there is but 1 issue, i will not allow you to have a mana orb. mana orb's are very powerfull artifacts in Feradrill.

When performing an action that requires a dice roll you should never fully post the action, but only the beginning of it.
For example, you should NEVER post
"My charecter runs toward the enemy, swinging his sword at him and cutting off the enemy's head."
What you SHOULD post is more like this:
"My charecter runs toward the enemy, swining his sword at him..."
Once that is posted, you should wait for a dice roll to be made and for the DM to finish your action.

Phoonix, why not ''My charecter runs toward the enemy, swinging his sword at him and cutting off the enemy's head.''? This way you can know which part is the character aiming.

For clarification purposes, it would be nice to see the gender, anticipated class, and race of everyone who's going to roleplay. It would be slightly inconvenient to have to run back between pages at the start, if we're all gathered together and we want to comment on the variety of people there.

Description: An elf-shaped solid in-color ghost whose real height is unknown. Quite naughty and rude to some people. Adventurous after he went to the forest. His mutation is invisible and he does not fear death.
Equipment: a mana orb.
Biography: Born in a lucky house and named Leg'olas after the elven ranger Legolas, he mixed orbs of donated mana until the combustion became unstable. His body exploded and his mind was stuck in mana. He wandered around with his genes mixed in such a way that he became quite crazy and insane until the call for a champion.

While he is travelling, he went into the sanctuary of mana mistakes. It is a colony of dark elves tapping into mana and found him. They did some experiments with him, making his powers stronger. When they manipulate him, he was unconscious until he found out that his body have changed (a little bit). After he realized that his body is the same but glowing, he pretended that he is Jesus to some people and misled them. After that, they followed him as invisible ghosts to the call for champions. He found Nátucien on the way running to a pit. His will forced him to cover the pit with solid mana (accidentally) and Nátucien walk safely across the pit. Some owl tore his head but he did not feel pain (too overpowered?). He walked into a sleeping dragon's cave, disturbed it and flee. He used his newfound power to trip a thief. All this while he did not eat or starve at all by extreme luck (the forest is filled with mana crystals).

Weapon of a Champion: Orb of the mutated. It turned out that the first one to be mutated was a dark elf, who played with mana and explode himself. He researched mana and the power to manipulate mana. He kept this orb of mana whom only one whom can completely control mana can have.
